Feeling Different Towards Someone

*Spoiler Alert*

In the book 13 Reason's Why, by Jay Asher Hannah Baker had committed suicide because she felt that the world was too heavy on her. Clay received audio tapes that Hannah made before committing suicide. When he had received the box, it said that you would appear the audio tapes and that you might have even caused her death. Blaming someone is harsh for why they died. On tape 5 side B, Clay finds out that he is on that tape. Though he realizes that it is for something that could have helped Hannah live, which is love.
Now a day's people say that love is the strongest power in the world and can stop everything that is evil, but does it really. In the book, Hannah's first love was one of the causes of her death, yet she didn't realize that love isn't liking someone because of their appearance, but for the way they connect. In the book at a certain point Hannah and Clay are at a party. Hannah realized that she truly liked someone for the first time and Clay too. Hannah pushed him away and Clay didn't do anything to stop it. I think that when we have the chance we should take the opportunity. Many of us take moments for granted, yet we should take advantage of it, in a good way, and not let it escape.
We end our lives for many different reasons, yet the gift of life is one of the most important. We shouldn't take it for granted. Another thing that we should never let go of is love. Love helps us bond together and survive. We all see that there is no point in ending our lives because we always regret it. It is okay to make mistakes that we can fix, but there are some that we never fix, and that is dying and losing someone you love.

Growing Up

In the book Crank by Ellen Hopkins, a girl named Kristina Wagner gets addicted to meth and does some umiaginable things. Now she is pregnant and is about to give birth, yet she is still addicted to the drug and can't give it up. Kristina is undecided of what to do with a baby of her own at 17.We always say we would grow up someday, but when? When is it the right  time to grow up?

I think that the best time to grow up is once you now how to start thinking logically on your own, yet still ask for help when you need to. Many people in our live grow up until we face the moment and sometimes we just leave it behind. Many people don't know what to do in that situation so they either hurt themselves or others. There are many things in life that start to set boundaries of where your childhood ends and where adulthood starts. For example in the book the time Kristina leaves her childhood is when she meets Adam in Alburquerque. When Kristina starts adulthood is when she is going to do it with Brendan. She knows she isn't supposed to do it yet she still does it.

All in all I think that it depends on what you have been influenced by. Many people do things because of what they see in their surroundings.  Kristins started drugs because of her father and Adam. Also we need to take precautions in order to not cause terrible things, just like what happened to Kristina. We need to grow up at certain points.

We Always Want More

** If you are joining the book club, don't read it**

"Red and raw like my heart..."
In the book Crank by Ellen Hopkins it is about how a perfect girl,Kristina, gets addicted to a drug. It changes her life 360 degrees. She doesn't realize that this would affect her life and also the damage this drug does to you.  So she changes her name and her identity yet she is still the same person. One thing I have realized is that once you get addicted to it you can't really stop and you want more just as if you like someone. So I chose this line because Kristina/Bree likes it so much, it is similar to a heart.
This line really spoke to me because she found someone that she likes yet she also found a monster that she likes even though it is torturing her around. When I think about this I am surprised how many people are at the peak of the mountain and once they meet it they fall back down from where they started. Something so small can control you around and it can even lead you to changing who you are. This is so addicting that you would want more every time just like when you like someone. You would want to see them more often and you think that they keep your heart beating. Though what we don't realize is that it starts to control you and we can't even see it to stop it from controlling you.
I have seen so many people get addicted and they have finished in destruction. so many girls have babies at such a young age because they fall in to something that they can't see coming. These girls just get addicted to these guys that they don't see what they are doing. They just think about them 100% of the time. they don't see the damage coming towards them. We fall in to deep holes, that sometimes we don't know how to dig our way back out.

In What Category Do We fit?

In the book Sold by Patricia McCormick the conditions that they live in are really low. We in our country we always say that we are so poor; but one thing that we don't consider are the conditions that other people in other countries live in. For example, in the book it says that to even have a tin roof it is a sign of luxury. Something so simple as a tin roof is worth millions for them. We usually always complain because don't have a television. They survive everyday with what they can afford; even if it means a tin roof with a hut made out of clay. When we have a brick home. We are so selfish that we only care about what we have and not others.

Faith??

In the book, Shiver by Maggie Steifvater is a book about how this girl named grace was attacked by wolves, but can't remember the look of yellow eyes. Now she comes across this boy who has the same yellow eyes, but hurt and a human. she takes him in withou much doubting. I feel that she must really have a strong connection with him because she took Sam, the werewolf, in knowing it was the wolf she was waiting for all these years. it may be wierd that when Sam got shot, to turn into a human, and Grace find him. it could be faith or just a coincidence.

It may have just been the fact that Grace is so attracted to Sam so much that she was able to find him and rescue him. I believe this because she shad stopped the shooting of the wolves inorder to not kill this wolve that didn't kill her when the wolves had attacked. Those were the eyes that stayed within her for a very long time. Without those eyes she wouldn't have recognized him when not a werewolf. Now she has this trong bond with him that can't be explained.

The bond that grace has with Sam is something undescribeble. they bond evn though not knowng anything about eachother. Though one thing that I guess bonds them together is the fact that Grace was bitten and did not turn into a werewolf. They both know what is it like to be attacked and have experienced it. We know when a person is the right person because we feel it inside.

$$$$- What Does it Mean to You? (World On Fire)

As I reading the lyrics of "World On Fire" I thought it was about this song writer who was writing about a heartbreak that can also happen to many people in the world. I realized as I was watching the video that It was about how poverty is all around the world. Also we can make a difference in the world. If a singer could do it by giving up thousands of dollars on a single music videos; she gavr the miney to people who need it for food and shelter. I see many people on the street homeless and lonely. The main point is that we are what we have gave with a loving heart.
In the video many people are scarcely making any money, but there are people in the world that spend money knowing that they are going to get in return double or triple what they gave; so it would be like to them throwing a penny. A line that relates back to this idea is A fortune of one that means less for some. This line relates back to this topic because many people are in need of money, mean while other people waste it around, by throwing it around in unecessary items. such as really fancy clothing that they don't need. Other people need the money for a good meal everyday and good clothing to survive for a good period of time.
In my life I see many poor people walking around pulling carts of cans in order to gain a couple of dollars. Then I go and see TV, and see how the celebrities spend millions of dollars on one tiny house, that is probably a bit bigger than the own apartment I live in. Why couldn't they have bought houses or shelters for people n need of shelter. Many people need it more than I do.They shouldn't br so selfish; they also should look around them and see how many people live in very poor conditions. Many people waste money for pleasure when for some people it is a necessity.

We Are On the Outside What We Have Experienced.

In the book Honey, Baby Sweetheart, by Deb Caletti, the main character Ruby McQueen used to be this outstanding girl, but after tiny incidents she has changed her personality from the outside, but not the inside. We change on the outside because of tiny embarrassing moments because we are afraid to be somebody that other people that surround us every day laugh at. Meaning we are controlled and afraid of who we are known as.
The main character has changed from outstanding to brave because of sitting on a doughnut pillow in class that looks like a bathroom seat or because she has fallen down. She has been transformed into a quiet girl. I feel that we shouldn't change who we are because of small dumb moments like this. We all make mistakes, but we should just eventually forget about them because they can happen all the time. I know definitely that I have had many embarrassing moments such as falling down, or getting a really low grade on a test(which doesn't happen too often), but I eventually move beyond them because the only thing I can do is learn from them rather then take them personally.
Ruby McQueen has changed from these moments to this shy girl, but really on the inside is a strong and powerful adolescent. For example, in the book this boy named Travis told her to hop on to his motorcycle, she did. He was riding at a really high speed, but she didn' panic. she just went along with it. This shows that even though they may look weak on the outside it doesn't necessarily mean that they are weak on the inside either. she was pretty strong in the inside. She actually had the courage to go the motorcycle and ride at a high speed without panicking.
I can relate this back to my own life because many people are really weak on the outside, though not literally, but are really strong in specific area. such as education. Also though there are many people who are really outgoing on the outside, but in the inside they aren't even sure of who they are. they just go along with what other people are doing. I guess many people aren't leaders, but they are followers. We should know how to lead and set example ourselves.
